The girls Varsity Golf team dropped a close match to Thornapple-Kellogg at the Yankee Springs Golf Course on Friday, Aug. 20.

The Hawkeyes were defeated 213 to 224 in a close match.

According to Hamilton Coach Kevin Arnold, his ladies did not have a great match.

“They didn’t play their best today,” he said.

However, since it was only the second match of the season, he feels the girls have plenty of time to show everyone what they’re made of.

The girls have been both working hard and having fun. They are “solid as a team,” and “where I want them to be, if not even a little head,” Coach Arnold said.
